OVERVIEW
Established in 2008, the Health Promotion Centre (HPC) strive to achieve a nation of healthy and fit Bruneians. Although residents in Brunei today enjoy good health with high life expectancy and low mortality rates, we want to further improve our health status and continue to enjoy good health as we age. To achieve this, the HPC will drive the government's efforts to raise the level of awareness, knowledge and understanding among Bruneians on health matters generally and lifestyle-related diseases, in particular. It will serve as a resource centre for enabling the public to acquire information, skills and tools to manage their health. It will also function as a community outreach centre with special focus on providing health education programmes and activities for children and the youth.
