PRIMARY SERVICES:
Provide basic curative, corrective and rehabilitative services to render the patient orally fit, control all active diseases and restore acceptable oral function.
These include:

1. The emergency relief of pain and discomfort and the control of infection of oro-facial origin.

2. Dental extractions under local anaesthetic.

3. Dental fillings.

4. Dental scaling and prophylaxis.

5. Minor surgical dentistry.

6. Simple root canal treatment.

7. Plastic dentures (Full and partial dentures).

8. Chairside Oral Health Education

SPECIALIZED SERVICES:
Those patients who require more advanced treatment e.g. orthodontics, complex root canal treatment, advanced restorative work, complex oral surgery etc are referred to the respective Specialized Oral Health Care Services.

Our specialists work in multi-disciplinary teams, managing patients with complex dental, oro-facial and rehabilitative problems. The Specialist Services available are:

4. Static school dental clinics with full-time dental nurses providing treatment for school children

   • The Target Group Concept introduced in 1987 in Negara Brunei Darussalam aims at providing comprehensive dental treatment for Primary 2 school children each year, subsequently maintained by regular six-monthly recall visits. The objective is for primary school children to be dentally fit and aware before advancing to secondary schools.
     
      

5. Mobile dental clinics operated by dental nurses that visit schools without permanent clinics
   
    

6. A Police dental clinic at Gadong Police Headquarters, which is solely for police personnel and their families
   
    

7. Rural dental services operated by a Dental Officer and dental nurse for the rural areas of Negara Brunei Darussalam, accessible only by river or by air
