TIPS
FOR PATIENTS |

- Brush at least
twice a day :
After breakfast & before you sleep
- Bleeding means
more tooth-brushing, not less: Brush
& Floss areas where gums bleed
- Use Fluoride
toothpaste: Children less than 8
years old should use pea-sized
amount of fluoride toothpaste
- Spit, don’t
rinse after tooth-brushing
- Floss once a
day before you sleep
- Avoid sugary
snacks
- Visit the
dental clinic every 6 months, but
daily personal oral care is more
important for a healthy mouth

TRAINING |
TRAINING OF DENTAL THERAPIST
The Dental Therapy program leading to a
Diploma in Dental Therapy is a 3 years
program conducted locally. This course
has commenced in March 2006 whereby 8
trainees (new intake) have been
undergoing dental training.
The Diploma in Dental Therapy holder
will be trained to handle both children
and adults and their main function is to
augment the dental services provided by
dentists in the country. |
