IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

In the past week, the number of reported cases of COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam continues to show a decrease where the average daily rate of cases last week was 88 cases per day, compared to 108 cases per day in the previous week. A total of 29,869 ART test results were uploaded to the BruHealth application within one week of which 2.0% were positive ART test results.
- Today, there are no cases in Category 5 and Catefory 4 which requires treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and requires oxygen assistance and is under close supervision.
- As of yesterday, 12 February 2023, the rate of vaccination coverage of COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam remains at a high level with 79.1% of all citizens and residents of this country having received the third dose of the vaccine and 11.9% also having received the fourth dose.
- Today, a total of 82 new cases have been reported, of which are the result of ART tests and no case have been detected from RT-PCR laboratory tests that have been performed in the past 24 hours.
