Many commonwealth countries often refer to medical services as "General Medicine" while other
countries may call it "Internal Medicine"
"General" refers to how these physicians often need to approach the patient as a whole
rather than homing in to specific signs and symptoms
Many of the specialities familiar to the public are considered part of the medical services
including, cardiology, respiratory medicine, nephrology and so on

Visiting hours for Medical Wards:
Please note that in the interest of patient privacy and comfort during doctor's examination, all visitors including carers are not allowed in the wards during the surgical services ward round
Non-carers are only allowed on the wards during visiting hours:
12.00 noon - 1.30 pm
5.00 pm - 8.30 pm
