1.    The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public on the current situation of the COVID-19 infection in Brunei Darussalam for Thursday, 20 Zulkaedah 1442 / 01 July 2021, as of 12.00 noon.

2.    Case 261 is a man aged 67 years old who arrived in the country from Japan via Singapore on 18 June 2021. He does not have any signs of infection. The investigation and contact tracing have confirmed that there are no close contacts for this new case since he was quarantined upon arrival into the country and all his travel arrangements upon arrival and self-isolation follows the existing standard operating procedure (SOP).

 

3.    All the cases treated at the National Isolation Centre are in a stable condition.
