SITUATION OF THE COVID-19 INFECTION

IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

1.      The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public on the current situation of the COVID-19 infection in Brunei Darussalam for Tuesday, 25 Zulkaedah 1442 / 06 July 2021, as of 12.00 noon.

2.      Case 263 is a man aged 42 years old and does not have any sign of infections. Case 264 is a man aged 41 years old with cough symptoms. Case 265 is a woman aged 23 years old who experienced symptoms of cough and high fever. Case 266 is a boy aged 1 year old and does not have any signs of infection. All of the new cases arrived in the country from Surabaya, Indonesia on 23 June 2021. The investigation and contact tracing have confirmed that there are no close contacts for these new cases since they were quarantined upon arrival into the country and all their travel arrangements upon arrival and self-isolation follows the existing standard operating procedure (SOP).

 

3.      All the cases treated at the National Isolation Centre are in a stable condition.
