REQUIREMENTS

POST: MEDICAL OFFICER

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Possess a Primary Medical Degree; MBBS or its equivalent, recognized by the Brunei Medical Board.
  2. At least five (5) years clinical experience Post-Registration (ie. MBBS + 5 years post-registration).
  3. Post-Graduate qualification in the relevant specialty applied, ie. a Masters degree and/or passing Part 1 and Part 2 Membership qualification of the Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom in the relevant field.
  4. Currently working in a job relevant to the post applied for.
  5. Aged preferably 45 years or below.

POST: SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Possess a Primary Medical Degree; MBBS or its equivalent, recognized by the Brunei Medical Board.
  2. At least five (5) years clinical experience Post-Registration (ie. MBBS + 5 years post-registration).
  3. At least five (5) years clinical experience after obtaining Post-Graduate qualification in the relevant specialty applied, ie. Full Membership qualification of the Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom in the relevant field.
  4. Currently working in a job relevant to the post applied for.

POST: ASSOCIATE SPECIALIST

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Possess a Primary Medical Degree; MBBS or its equivalent, recognized by the Brunei Medical Board.
  2. Relevant Post-Graduate qualification according to Specialty applied (ie. Member to any of the Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom OR equivalent, of more than 5 years standing).
  3. Has completed a Structured Advanced Specialist Training or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
  4. Currently working in a specialist job relevant to the post applied for.

POST: CONSULTANT

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Possess a Primary Medical Degree; MBBS or its equivalent, recognized by the Brunei Medical Board.
  2. Relevant Post-Graduate qualification according to Specialty applied (ie. Member to any of the Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom OR equivalent, of at least 10 years standing).
  3. Has completed a Structured Advanced Specialist Training or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
  4. Possess a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (eg. CCT from the United Kingdom) or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
  5. Currently working in a Consultant job relevant to the post applied for.
