MEMBERSHIP

1. Those entitled to use the Medical Library RIPAS Hospital:
   a. All staff under Ministry of Health
   
   • Citizen (no deposit needed)
   • Non-Citizen (contract, locum, daily paid – deposit needed)
   
   
2. Those who may obtain library privileges on written application to the Administrative Head of Medical Library but who are exempt from payment of a deposit:
   
   • Professional librarians of other libraries in Brunei
   
   
3. Those who may be granted library privileges on written application and on payment of a deposit:
   
   • External degree students of overseas universities, professional institutions and all registered Medical Officer under Ministry of Health.
   • Staff of Brunei Government Departments and statutory bodies
   • Institute of Medicine, Universiti Brunei Darussalam
   
   
4. Student under practical training at RIPAS Hospital should applied for membership through Medical Education Center, RIPAS Hospital.
   
   
5. Government Departments, statutory bodies, libraries and other research institutions may use the library and apply for inter-library loan facilities by special arrangement with the Administrative Head of Medical Library.
   
   
6. The Administrative Head of Medical Library may at his discretion, permit other persons the occasional use of the library.
   
   
7. Membership is restricted to person residing / working in Brunei Darussalam.
